Dear Ma’am May,

                Before anything else, I would like to greet you a belated happy birthday! I know that we, the students made you happy that day and we surprised you. Although we have given you a simple gift, I know that it meant a lot to you. We thank you for being a nice teacher, friend, and mentor to us. We’re thankful to be your students.

                Anyway, my birthday is coming! I want you to come over here on my birthday. We’ve known each other for about three years but still, I haven’t invited you to go here in our house. We’ll be having a party here on my birthday so I guess I’ll invite also the SALIW. I guess that would be great. I hope all of you can come!
